- Comfort Glass - Tempered safety glass
- Comfortplus Glass - Tempered safety glass with
extra laminated pane for added safety and comfort
- Impact Glass - Special safety glass designed
to meet code requirements for hurricane prone areas.
- White Laminated Glass - Tempered, laminated
safety glass with a white coating to provide diffused lighting.
ENERGY STAR
The FCM skylight meets ENERGY STAR approval
guidelines for energy efficiency in all climatic regions of the US.
Sunscreening Options For Optimal Light Control
The FCM skylight is compatible with the following
sunscreening accessories:
- Manual Cellular Shade - Diffused lighting
- Electric Heatblock Awning - Light blocking
black cloth provides the best control against heat gain while blocking
sunlight when the awning is drawn. Can be used in conjunction with other
blinds.
Weathertight Flashing System
VELUX ECL step flashing for curb mounted skylights is available for shingles and
other low-profile roofing materials only. Custom flashings are required for
other roofing materials.
Installation Slope
The FCM skylight installs on roofs with slopes between 15 (3:12) and 60
(20:12).
